When I bought mine, Optical 88 was one of the only cheaper stores carrying them. Spectacle is a great store that also carries the line, but you do pay a premium

I buy new glasses. when I look to the side, it is slightly blurry, but straight on they are great. Is this a bad lens causing the blurry vision?

Anyone knows an optical place in Vancouver that is knowledgeable in assembling lenses on a rimless silhouette frame? I was planning to get it done at Costco. The Costco staff told me that they have stopped doing it for all silhouette rimless frame for their fragility and customer keep going back for replacement.

Also, I am looking for transition lenses. Anyone knows where to get it for a good price?

Question about PD. I didn't have the correct PD but wanted to take advantage of the Clearly Contacts free shipping this weekend so I measured myself. I ordered 2 pairs and 1 was 2mm over and the other was 3mm over. Is this going to cause a problem. My script

-1.25 -0.5 175
-1.50 -0.5 005

I am searching online and getting different answers. Some say the script is too low and a larger PD is just fine while others say it may effect vision.

Is ah_long still around? I need a new pair of sunglasses and i wanna replace my lenses of my current glasses, I wanna know how much this should cost me. I took my frames to a random optical store and they guy quoted me $200 and i only payed $180 for my frames.

Anyone have some tips for buying sunglasses?

From some research, there doesn't seem to be any difference in quality of lens between a $400 brand name pair and some cheap ones from the gap or something?

Can anybody tell me where's the best place in Markham (or Toronto) to get just lenses put into frames I already have?
I walked around pacific mall to get some quotes. Somebody told me $80, another place told me $130. I know for a fact my girlfriend got lenses replaced, supposedly "at cost" to the store, which was $40. She was only able to get that because of an error in her giving them the prescription.

I assume the quality of lenses can't vary too much. The factors are thin, non scratch coating, UV protection, anti glare, astigmatism...anything else? Should I just worry about finding the best price?
