CBC is a little restricted in that we only have one true HD truck. The other trucks up here are 16x9 but not 1080i. Most playoffs should be 16x9, the Ottawa homes should be true HD. Dunno about the states, they're all rentals and you never know what you'll get. (Detroit should be true HD if the truck we want shows up...)

yikes - Don gets his suits and shirts custom-made...... that's all I'll say
As for Ron & Don - they just work together, when on the road they'll hang together. But I can guarantee that Don hasn't invited Ron over for a BBQ EVER!!
yes Don and I have had a disagreement - nobody other than Cherry ever wins - ever
and Don usually does not allow anyone other than Ron in the studio during coaches corner.

Mostly in Edmonton, it's a lot cheaper to hire locals. They have to pay my room & per diem. Sometimes I get requested for travel - The Joe in Detroit has rats bigger than my cat + it's in an "interesting" part of town...

depends on the director.......
usually the truck is pretty politically incorrect and we have been called pigs more than once....(laughingly) you try to relax the people inside and make the director happy.
the chicks with big'uns never make it to air on CBC..... other networks/other rules as I'm sure you've seen. (had one non-CBC director who'd buy a beer for the one that found the biggest pair in a crowd)

Why don't they have the stars challenge thing between periods where players have to shoot at the bullseye targets in the net? Power Stars? Showdown?
