Are Asking Canadians Surveys Worth it ?

Just received an email from AskingCanadians that a survey is available
that will take 45 minutes and the reward will be 3000 PetroPoints.

I figure that's worth about $ 1.87 in potential giftcard value for 45 minutes of
extreme patience.

I unsubscribed from there mail list !!

you should not accept geeting screened out once your that far into it. i would email the survey company and kindly let them know.

Since I don't work, I do lots of surveys from many panels. Asking Canadians is one of them, and I rarely if ever get screened out. If you do get screened out you still get 100 petro points.

I have done surveys for many years and dropped all the panels I had a problem with (one being Asking Canadians)

The ones I like are mysurvey, Toluna, Ipsos I-say, Opinion Outpost and Air Miles Opinions.

That is working for approximately $2.50/hr ... not a chance.

For those wondering, screened out points have been reduced from 100 (post #5 from 2014) to 50 now.

The only surveys I bother with now are Pinecone Research.

Short answer = NO. I did the longest survey ever... the "Touchpoints' survey. Required a survey every half hour for every waking hour for a whole week (= about 90 surveys total).

I was told I completed the week long diary correctly, but had to follow one more link to get my rewards. The link wouldn't work. The people at Asking Canadians said they would help but did not follow through.

I tried contacting Asking Canadians about 6 times after that, over 2 months. No reply at all. I've never received the reward points that were promised for the survey.

For panels, I think most people are not doing the survey only for the money....
