Any experience with them? I'm most interested in the performance of their service when funneling Usenet / BitTorrent traffic.

I don't use BitTorrent. Today using Sabnzbd my download speed is 2.0Mb/s from SSL servers and usually it is between 2 ~ 3Mb/s. Speed will depend from server you are connected to and some other factors (your internet speed, router, VPN type - PPTP, OpenVPN, etc.). I have Bell Fibe 16.
My primary use is to conceal my IP address to listen to Pandora and watch US Netflix. I haven't notice big difference in web surfing speed.
I also have Witopia at office and I can tell that Astrill feels faster although I haven't measure and compare speeds.

Pretty crappy feedback from users if you spend some time on google.
ibVPN has been 100% for me for the past year and now they have a 25% off sale.

Yes, they have a China (Hong Kong) and China (mainland) servers if I remember right.
I used Astrill for 1.5 years after trying out a few others during my 3 yr stay in China. Astrill was definitely the best and easiest to use, especially toggling it on/off and switching VPN servers. They also will give you an open port for Port-forwarding if you turn that on in the settings...useful for torrent downloads.
Oh, and Astrill doesnt track your activity and report if you download potentially copywritten material. Other VPNs I tried did do this.

Can you point me to that statement that they don't keep log ?
I only see a full page of data they WILL collect and use about what you do online....

ibVPN clearly states that no log will be kept here :

+1 for ibVPN. i got it last year, i think it was around Boxing week when they had a 50% off sale, hopefully they will again this year then i'll renew (i buy annual). bitorrent allowed on certain servers, and it works great for U.S. Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, etc.
