Although the specs look nice, in my experience, gaming laptops aren't worth the $. They are quickly outdated so you're better off buying a mobile, cheap laptop and a performance desktop.

NCIX Sale Price $2099, NCIX regular price isn't usually the cheapest around anyways.

Anyhow, i was looking at this laptop as i was thinking of getting it and found this laptop at ATIC.ca for 1990 dollars. It has since been changed. So that sucks.

definately not worth it...
The only thing worthwhile is the 7700 card.
Asus is incredibly overpriced as well.

I like how they call nvidia 7700 laptop a gaming laptop.
I guess any laptop with a dedicated video chip is called Gaming laptop.
Yes, I do play game on my laptop every single day, and I do need it because I am 70% not home, and that 30% is when i sleep.
And my laptop is not outdated for 1 year already for some reason.
It's not the fastest but it's good enough for me for now. and it's 7900 gtx._______________
My gains from RDF:

my HP dv6375us has the exact same specs except the vid card is 7400go and native resolution is 1280x800...everything else is exact same from that list, and it even comes with an HP expresscard tv tuner with media center remote....all for around 1.6k......much more worth it imo =p
oh, and its got a lightscribe burner too lol

Did they improve their customer service for warranty? Last time I had to deal with them it was very time consuming and their attitudes are comparable to Acer.

Laptop gaming is just too expensive and as such poor support from manufacturers.
A shame._______________
