Asus Routers RT-N16 or RT-AC66U

Is the New Asus RT-AC66U router much better than the previous RT-N16 router?

Does any one have personal experience with the new one, RT-AC66U?

Thanks in Advance :)

Tomshardware did a review of the RT-AC66U and just for N speeds it was one of the top at most benchmarks but you would be better served if you had AC network devices

I'd go for the AC66U if budget isn't an issue. The N16 is a great router, but it's quite old.

Had an ac66, it was okish for range but had issues with basic networking/homegroups and printer sharing so it got sold and exchanged for a much better alternative.
