This is a pretty solid deal. Same price as it was around Christmas and I've never seen it lower.

It was just 169 at KMS here in BC, I posted it in another Milwaukee thread recently. This is a good price as well though!

I think the $100 trade in credit is only for Kits, not bare tools

How is the torque on these?
I found the angle grinders to be pretty anemic.

Alternatively, home depot has this saw bundled with the 9.0mah battery and a charger for $300. Saw it in store this weekend. Good deal considering they sell the battery itself for $280

Same problem with all cordless saws I've used. Rip 3 or 4 - 8' sheets and it'll start chugging along...by the end you'll go from cutting to shredding. Have alot of full batteries on standby and a couple chargers going to do any kind of real work.

Now they're even trying to sell 10" cordless miters to dummies...never seen one on a job site.

Which location had this kit?

Edit: went to two HD locations. They have never heard of any promo with the Fuel saw. There is no coupon at the cash, never was they say. Dead end.

Yeah sorry, should have put that in. Warden and Ellesmere on the far right front end display of the tool section. It was all bundled in one box. They have the same bundle in the u.s. home depots too for $250usd. I've seen it at other Canadian Milwaukee dealers too (IHL, etc.) Just google model# 48-59-1890PC

That end display just has the "free bare tool with drill/driver kit" promo now.

Cbd223: can't thank you enough! Went into the Home Depot on Warden and snagged a great deal. Although they didn't have the circular saw you mentioned, they had the M18 fuel sawzall with 9.0 Ah battery and charger for 299. Now factor in the 10% off with depot card this was 304 all in. Battery alone is 279 plus tax. Box was on the top overstock shelves above the display in hardware. Went to Morningside Depot and got the same deal on the circular saw.

Got:

2x 9.0Ah Milwaukee batteries
M18 fuel circular saw
M18 fuel sawzall

608 all in. Again, batteries alone are 560 plus tax for the 2.

Morningside still had a few circular saw kits left and warden had 1 sawzall kit that I could see left.

Does either one of you still have your bill? Could you share the UPC code? I'm gonna call a few stores near me and see if they have the one of the two kits in stock. Thanks a ton!
