All depends ...
are the dealers going to give you 5+% off msrp + factory credit as well ? Or
Are dealers going to do the above but charge you a whole bunch of bogus fees and make them as mandatory so it appears you are getting the prepaid maintenance for free ?
What bogus fees should I be looking out for? Got quoted about 850 tax in for an S5 sportback, 48 months @ 20k km/year , including prepaid maintenance. Did not get to see the breakdown of the fees.

Went for a quote at my local audi dealership and was told that the prepaid maintenance is now included in the monthly payment for all audis and all dealerships. Is this true?
Only for 2019 C and D segment;, A6, A7, A8, Q7 and Q8. Anything else, they're forcing you to buy it and it isn't mandatory.

Is this a good deal? 2018 Audi Q5 Technik - has 6,000 km driven on it. Also recently during a storm the windshield was broken so they replaced it and fixed some damage on the side of the car. They said it is still audi certified and that the standard warranty is applicable and that it should not have any issues. The price I was given is $600 per month (including tax) @3.9% for a 48 month lease with 25,000km per year. This is including a deposit of $5,000. They took off freight and pdi, included an Audi Canada 1000 credit and about 2000 for the windshield damage. Any advice is appreciated thank you.

You need 25,000km per yr ? If you do 4 yrs at 25,000km per, you are only covered to 80,000km in factory warranty. The only 20,000km you would be responsible for any out of warranty repairs, unless dealer is including extended warranty since you mentioned it’s certified. If not included, I would not take the offer. Besides, always put down next to nothing on lease.

Yes I need 25,000. If I get them to cover warranty up to 100,000 do you think this is a good price? Thanks

Not at all.

Based on my calc.
For this 6,000km demo/daily loaner or whatever they call this ...

Dealer is offering 5% discount + $1000 factory credit ... and no freight/pdi. << Anyone can get this deal nowadays on a brand new one, except the freight/pdi fees need to be paid.

From my perspective point of view, as a used car, you ought to be aiming for 10% dealer side discount + $1000 factory credit and no freight/pdi fees. with $0 down (instead of $5000 + HST down), you would be looking at $658 per month OTR.

If no go, then try another dealer or get 2019 (prelimin. calc. suggests it would cost you about $200 per month more ... based on $0 down. Same term but 4.9% rate and no factory credit and 5% dealer side discount and $2600 of fees (freight/pdi + dealer admin fee) rolled into monthly calc.

If you decide to go for the 18 used one. Negotiate for extended warranty to be included at the min.

Any idea why the 2019's are delayed? We have a S5 Sportback that's been sitting in Halifax since October 30th. Last I checked with the dealer (about 3 weeks ago) it was still there.

^ likely waiting for certification. MB cars are in the same situation as most of them have been sitting at Halifax for as long as 6+ months.

Extended warranty from Audi has a $1500 flat profit margin. Just keep that in mind. I've seen it with my own two eyes.

I see the 2019 Audi S5/S5 Sportback can now be built on audi.ca. I noticed a decrease in horsepower from 354 to 349.

Do the 2019 S5 and S4 come with parking assistant? The US models do but I don't see it listed on the Audi Canada website under the 2019 models.

I'm being quoted the following:

S5 Sportback Technik 2018
- return from ambassador program
- CPO'd.
- reported damage on back bumper (minor, around $3200 repair, undetectable but in carfax)
- 18k kms
- around $62k + tax. (can be financed, but not leased due to high km)
- no options besides red break calipers.
- financing at 2.99%

How does this sound to you guys? good deal or no?

also for s5 sportbacks 2018, does it make more sense to finance or lease? One big advantage of getting a new one would be choosing add-ons, for example, I would pay the $350 extra to get heated back seats.

For the A4, is adaptive cruise control solely a feature available in the Advanced Driver's Assistance(ADA) package on the A4 or is it just the addition of stop and go + LKA capability in the ADA package?
