Seems it would be a lot easier for the the consumer to keep it all in one thread.

It wasn't a question for which anyone here has an answer...it was kind of rhetorical. And it started a whole different discussion with comments from people that have no real interest in an Audi.

Alex, are there a lot of preorders for the 2011 Q5 2.0T? How long is the wait? Thanks.

Alex, as an addendum, what's the price difference in MSRP terms between the 2010 base model (3.2) and the 2.0T 2011? you had mentioned it would be cheaper, how much cheaper on average for both base and premium models?

I have two preordered unsold Q5 2.0t Premium+ incoming in July. A fresh factory order will take about 10 weeks from the time it gets ordered.

This model includes all the content of the 2.0 TFSI quattro Premium and:

- Automatic headlight range adjustment
- Auto headlights and rain sense windshield wipers
- Headlamp washers
- Audi Music Interface

Is it just me, or does that make the Q5 mildly cheaper than the A4 2.0T with the same level of equipment?

Alex, have you tried the new 8 speed tiptronic yet? How does it compare with the 7 speed DSG?

thanks for the update alex. ff up question: have you tried the 2.0T for the Q5 yet? do you have an idea how much of a performance difference is affected by the heavier engine relative to the a4? (is there a european spec we can use to compare the A4 vs Q5 at 2.0T?)

I was going to say that that's much cheaper than the 2010 premium with tech package (which seems to be roughly the same)... but... let me guess, the $45,800 is for manual transmission, while the $45,100 2010 premium is tip?

I haven't tried it yet, I'm hoping to get an A4 equipped with it as early as the end of this month.
Regardless of how good the new 8 speed tip is, I doubt that it will come even close to the DSG tranny.

None have arrived yet. This is what I found, gross weight:
A4 2.0t 2,115 kg.
Q5 2.0t 2,365 kg.
Q5 3.2 2,415 kg.
