Audi vs Hyundai

so i need to make a decision. On one hand i have the 2018 Audi a3 offered to me for a great lease price of $420 on the other i have the 2018 Elantra SE for $240 both on a 4 year lease.
I know im not comparing oranges to oranges here. They both get me from A to B, just one does it in more style. Im leaning more towards the hyundai as its cheaper but would really much rather drive the Audi.
i just want to see if someone can provide some arguments that will make my decision easier.

Really personal preference. How much time do you spend in the car? If I was only driving a couple hours a week I'd probably go with the Elantra, but if I spent a significant amount of time in the car (2 hrs a day +), I'd probably prefer the more comfortable/enjoyable one. So if the cost difference isn't going to hurt your overall finances significantly, and you place a value on where you spend your time, go with the Audi. If not, go with the Hyundai.

conflict of preferences.

Nice = $$
Boring = $ Disappointed But Relieved Face

I say if your budget allows, then go for Nice, just do the 3 yrs lease, at least you would be happy for 3 yrs. Smiling Face With Sunglasses

Take it or leave it? Why not see how much a Stinger can be leased for. Better than both cars.

Do you plan on keeping these for a long time? I have two co-workers who have Audi's and traded his for a new Audi because it was about 3 years old and didn't want to not have a warranty, the other is selling his S5, also around 3 year mark, for the same reason. These cars are apparently very expensive to maintain and I hear many Audi users sell them when warranty is out.

It's $180 difference in the lease. Probably another $20-$30 on premium gas and may be a bit more on insurance.

So I would say your overall cost would be $220/mth more over Elantra.

Now the nice thing is, if the A3 lease includes all the maintenance items and you drive 20K per year over 3 years, you will have that DSG job covered at 55K before you hand it back. If you don't have maintenance includes, expect to pay about $1000 more over the 3 years over the Elantra for maintenance items, if you get them done at dealership.

Also don't keep a German past warranty unless you are a mechanic, parts cost more.

If you have the budget and want a better car to drive, Get the Audi. Very simple decision.
If you lease, dont buy it back. Especially for an Audi

I would hope it's better because the base one is around $720/m at 48 months in Ont.

You're not the only one.

Audi is a nicer car but I'd rather drive the Hyundai and take the extra $200 and invest it over 4 years and then buy a real Audi.

$9600+ over 4 years worth it to you?

Worth not having to drive a Hyundai Elantra for the next 4 years.
