Audit - CAPM Designation
Hi guys,
So its rather unfortunate, but my friend and I both applied to write the exam for the CAPM designation and he was chosen to get audited. Normally he wouldn't be too worried about it, but he feels that his education hours (minimum of 23 hours) might not work.
The course he took was in university (when he was finishing off his degree). It was an Intro to Operations Management course. In this course he did learn about project management, planning, scheduling, forecasting, resource planning management etc... But then he is afraid that it might not work because it was a course that did not use the PMBOK, nor did it directly aim at project management material like most project management courses would.
Do you think he still has a shot at passing this audit? Should he write a letter to the auditors stating how he learned alot of project management from this course and how it touches on the 9 areas?
Thanks for your advice!
