Ausuk - Do not buy from here

Hi all,

So an acquaintance sends an email suggesting www.ausuk.com and the email is phrased in a way that looks "semi-personal". The person BCC'd everyone and I know a few that received the same email. Gmail didn't flag it so I looked at it. Did a quick google search and didn't find any reviews on legit sites like resellerratings.com

Question: Anyone have experience with this site and if it is legit or not?

Personal opinion: I found the Galaxy SII advertised for $350 which I found as too good to be true, and therefore, intuition tells me to ask around before ordering anything.

Trust your instincts on this one and stay away; their payment page allows you to use Western Union, Bank Transfer, Moneygram, or "Telegraphic Transfer" and nothing else. If the rest of the site wasn't enough to make you stay away, the available payment methods should really be a big red flag.

Nvm, you're right... checkout does not hav Paypal at all even though at the bottom it shows Paypal as a partner site. I'll change the title and warn my friends :)

EDIT: just asked the originator of the email and they have told me that it was indeed spam. they have exported and cleared their email address book as precaution but I told them that it wouldn't matter and their email list is likely copied and sold either way.

I am a victim of Ausuk. They took my money ($600.00). It all started when i got an email from a friend. I later called the friend and found out that he hasn't sent me any mail about this company.

I understand there are ways to track these people through the US authorities or some form. I would be most grateful if someone has any idea, etc that might help me.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
