1) but the husband was driving, right?????![]()
2) as long as she is listed as a driver on your policy she is considered as insured. no need to add her name on the ownership.

Auto insurance question
2 questions:
#1 - For a person I work with. His wife had a minor accident with a parked car
They are likely going to pay it out of pocket for damages. However, the damages may be more than they planned and they may need to go the insurance route. Problem is this though - His wife's drivers license was expired and she forgot to renew it... for several months.
again. Will an insurance co still cover the accident? Or do most policies not cover an "unlicensed" driver? To be clear, the policy is for both of them (husband and wife), the only question is her coverage status due to her license being expired.
#2 - For me.
My wife and I have 2 vehicles. She hardly ever drives her car and we are toying with the idea of selling it. However, we are concerned if we do that she will pay for it in future insurance rates if/when she buys another car. The question is this: If I keep her as a secondary driver for my truck (should be more or less automatic as she is a licensed driver in my household), when the time comes to get insurance on a future vehicle, will she rate as being "continually insured" for the past xx years and not have to pay like a "new" driver? If not, would it help to get her name on the title of a vehicle?
Thanks!

Heh. She's honest. Already reported and filed with the men in red. Interesting sidenote: When she filed it, she had had her license renewed and they didn't notice/care. I'm thinking that might be more than half the battle.
If you're sure, thats great news.2) as long as she is listed as a driver on your policy she is considered as insured. no need to add her name on the ownership.
Thanks.
