I've been having an issue in my honda civic car. it's been several months since my automatic door locks stopped working for all 4 doors. Can anyone help.

Fuse?
On the keyless entry fob or at the door? Each door, individually?
If the fuse is OK, there is a module that controls all the locks.

I think it's the main actuator situted on the driver's side that seems to i've worn out. Was talking to a mechanic yesterday. He said it's common with honda civics. The problem is that it's going to cost me $75 for just the part. So i am going to have to go to a junkyard for honda civic cars, and find a good one. Thanks for the reply though.

There is an actuator in each door for each door lock, not one that does all the doors. Don't go back to the mechanic that told you that.
