The few times I have rented (although from Enterprise), I had to show my drivers license.

Jul 2nd, 2006 04:38 PM #4Just to clarify, you always need to show your driver's license. You don't need to show corporation ID to use the special AWD code.

those codes...are they from a corporate plan?
usually business/corporate plans allow you to rent cars without the 25 and underage fee. just like hertz and if your a telus member.
do we need to print or show proof of the code?_______________

Pretty decent I'd say.
Alot of places make you pay a good bit extra when you're <25._______________

What do you mean if telus members get the underage fee waived?

What if you are not quite 21? I still have like 5 months to go, any chance they will rent to me?

using the CDP number 1421671, you are eligible for the Telus Mobility Corporate Discount Plan. It give you 10% off and waives the 25 and under fee.
I've used it numerous times, Telus before also gave you a Telus card in the mail so you may use the CDP plan. At times, showing your Telus bill or even your Telus phone works to prove you are a member.
I've had no problems, but again I used this CDP plan for a long time now and also have the Hertz #1 club member...so I'm in their records to receive this discount.
good luck!_______________

Jul 3rd, 2006 07:45 AM #12Unlikely as it is against most rental company's policy.

Jul 3rd, 2006 07:56 AM #13Not a chance. Remember, you're old enough to buy cigarettes, alcohol, firearms, get married, vote, and go to war and die for your country ... but renting a car? Forget it, sonny, those things are dangerous.
