If you're driving, Yonge and Finch is not that far away. I think a max of 10 mins if you jump on the highway? So why not try the authentic kbbq. If not my friends who are fro the boonies as well ahaha found bibimbap and kamja tang to be pretty cool ..

AYCE KBBQ near Yorkdale?
Or anywhere west of that, I'm not too familiar with the area. They're staying at the Holiday Inn near Yorkdale, and I want to bring them to a Korean BBQ place, preferably AYCE. Doesn't have to be authentic, just for the 'experience' for them, being from the boonies

+1 starting from 401 and up to 407 (on Yonge), there must be 50+ korean restaurants. Some are AYCE.

There used to be a place on Orfus road that had KBBQ. Don't know whether it's AYCE. Same goes for another place near Dufferin & Lawrence in the plaza on the North-West side.
With regards to Y&F area, only the Bulgogi House on Spring Garden has AYCE. It was not very good.
Once upon a time there was a AYCE BBQ place on Dufferin south of Steeles on the west side. Not sure if it's still there.

there's seoul house just a minute away from yorkdale. not ayce though, (according to illmdxthat below, it is ayce, BUT according to joeb, it is not. it's a mystery) and i haven't been there in a long time, so i can't comment on the current state of the food.

if you want the best kbbq in the GTA, there's Sariwon, non-ayce, north of Steeles on Yonge. not cheap here though.

I like Sariwon - but it's only on a special occassion we would go there as it is a bit pricey, alternatively we like to go to Chingu - http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/10/14667...-Richmond-Hill

it's probably the most authentic upper scale grill place here. and yes, it ain't an everyday place because of the price, although their non-grilled items are priced well, and their banchan sides are good and plenty.
i've reco'd the owl on yonge several times here already for their outdoor patio grilling during the summer. it's THE most authentique korean food experience you'd find here and definitely worth checking out. i wish they got heating lamps and did this year-round._______________

Thanks for all the responses, AYCE is not necessary, but I do think they prefer it (they loved the AYCE sushi haha). Regardless, I'll fill em in with their options.
