Would you post a pic. of the T.V. with it on so we can see how small the picture is off the screen size (sorry, can't visualize 1/5 smaller)

Also, how did the problem come about? (dropped, mishandled, etc.)

Sorry I don't have a picture of it, but I will try to get a digicam. The problem occured over time from not using it.

The damage happened over time and it affected the viewable of the screen. Think of watching the TV but there is only a thick horizontal line in the centre of the screen.
