Back to school deals on Apple H/W?

Does Apple generally offer deals during the back to school/holiday seasons or not?

I am looking to pick up a Mac Mini in the near future, but I am wondering if it would be beneficial to hold off for a bit.

It's already started. Only extra is you get beats headphones. Student discount is year round.

Bleh, that's weak. I guess I should have expected that for a premium brand.

If you are planning to pick up a mac mini, I would suggest you don't. They haven't upgraded the thing since Oct 2014.
Not the mention that the back to school promotion excludes the mac mini

I am looking for something relatively inexpensive to try my hand at iOS development. Is there another avenue you would suggest taking? It does not need to be mobile. The mini came to mind since it looks like I can just mount it to the back of my monitor and use it along side my regular desktop.

I recommend looking for a used mini rather than buying new.

Alright, looks like that may be my best option. I am not familiar with the general pricing of Mac's, so what would be the price range you would pay for one? I don't want to get ripped off!
