Jesus, its just a hampster. Really just a rat with a fancier name. Not worth missing a flight over.
Srsly, so you care and have more sympathy about some druggie vs a totally innocent pet? Figures. What a big joke w/ totally Misplaced heartlessness.

Anyway....

Yep, she's pretty stupid and heartless herself. Could've done countless things like asking a stranger in the airport to take care of it.

Not that I'd ever be silly enough to try to bring an animal on a plane in that manner to begin with, but if I did and ended up in that situation I'd eat the cost and go home.

I am a misanthrope that likes animals more than most people, and this story pisses me off.

So I guess my emotional support Boa Constrictor is out of the question on a plane? I'm sure they told me it was okay as long as I wrapped it around my body.

That is really sad and I cannot understand why she flushed this poor animal down the toilet. If Spirit really said that, they should be liable too.

Other species probably say the same about humans, but doesn't make it true.

I read in another article that said the employee suggested her to either flush it down the toilet, or set it free outside... she chose to flush it down the toilet.
