the movie is called Ong-Bak : Muay Thai Warrior
great movie, awesome martial arts. The repitition of camera angles is to show that he never used wires in the movie. It's kinda like that homo Van Damm with this triple takes of his kick except they show the same angle over and over again which makes it look less impressive.

Sorry if anyone else posted this topic before...
I caught Bak Ong....great thai boxing action....very brutal.
You can compare this movie to Jackie Chan's earlier movies. The storyline is the typical kung fu movie, but the action is superb...i'd recommend this to anybody.
only pet peeve was the action shots had a tendency to "repeat again" on a different camera angle....kind of got annoyed afterwards_______________

I liked this movie but I was also annoyed by the repetition of some scenes from different angles. My fav fight was with the asian guy with the afro

Feb 3rd, 2005 01:35 PM #11change the thread title... the movie is called Ong Bak... not Bak Ong... it doesn't make sense if you say Bak Ong in Tha or Chinese..
