i predict Boston and Houston will be playing each other in the World Series with Boston coming out on top.

Baseball playoffs - Go Yankees!
With no hockey this year, i've been forced to watch baseball, anyone catch the yankees/twins game last night? Was pretty good, i've been hoping for the yankees to win since 9/11, even if they do have the largest payroll in the league.
Also rooting for the cardinals in the NL, didn't know they had Larry Walker...

Gosh, that game was good
But i'll state the obvious: Nathan , left in too long...
The twins woulda had the series with that win...
But like someone told me: "Twins have what they want. They split the games in NY, now they just have to execute in Minnesota"

We all hate Yankees this time of the year, but by the end of october, we could always count on getting some comfort seeing Boston miss it one more time.
Yankees looks like the only slim hope for stopping Boston this year... GO YANKEES!!!

The twins won the first game last year too vs the yanks and then lost the next 3. Although the twins Sanata this year looks unbeatable, they'll prolly get one more win in minnie, and then lose in 5 in new york.

Very entertaining game indeed but I couldn't keep my eyes open (I was so damn tired) to see the winning run
I love these kinds of baseball games when it's so close and all it takes is one smack or one error.
I too hate Boston and their arrogant beanballer, Pedro Martinez.

I read somewhere (I think SI) about many ppl breaking the curse...
Some guy was hit by a foul ball in Boston who lives where Babe Ruth lived back then... Or something like that, and ppl visiting Babe Ruth's grave.
Stupid ground rule double rules... Twins shoulda been up 2-0... it was wrapped up for them
Santana looks unbeatable, yes. He won 2-0 even without his best pitches.
GO TWINS GO!

Yes. Everything seems to go what I want.
1. Boston is 0-2 in the series.
2. Yankees is still Pedro's Daddy.
A pitcher I dislike.
3. StL leading 1-0.
4. Mussina did not get his 'perfect' or no hitter game. Another pitcher I dislike.

Hard not to like to Yankees, it's like watching an all-star game. With the amount of money they spent, they better win.
So if Ted Rogers wants to win he should learn from George and buy a championship team instead of developing talent in the farm system.
