for the cost of pipe 7.99x2 and a trap $4 and a few elbows $5, you could of replaced the abs if you had acccess to it.
I just did the copper and ABS in the entire house over the weekend.Last edited by mrmoe; Dec 19th, 2005 at 11:41 AM.

Dec 20th, 2005 12:34 AM #20Depends whether it's for a bathtub or shower. The shower stall i had used the two screws so it's hard to use a hair strain. Bathtubs though usually use a standard plug so you can replace with a hair strainer. Cheapest place to buy a hair strainer or other usually over priced stuff : dollar shop, eg. Dollarama, Buck or Two, etc.

Thats the most straight forward suggestion. Instead of the wet rag try duct tape to create a better seal. Really hot water can help to...

Jan 8th, 2006 01:05 AM #24You might have gotten "hood winked." I am surprised that it cost you $309 just to startup a commercial plumbing snake. I had Rotor Rooter clean out my lines from my house to the city main. That cost me nothing close to $309. I knew that I had a problem when sewage backed up onto the bottom of my basement shower when the upstairs toilets were flushed.

One Second Plumber does not use harmful chemicals. It is a patented mixture of gases that react to water by creating a standing wave, which delivers 84 pounds of pressure per square inch removing all sorts of blockages from sound plumbing. It has been used in Europe for over 25 years and has sold more than 30 million units world wide. One Second Plumber is safe for use with septic systems and will not harm the environment. It is easy to use and very economical.

He dredged up a 6 year old thread to fix disinformation about the product......who knows how the guy found the thread but if he could find it then someone else could too and there goes a sale.
I didn't mind the post but if they apologized for bringing up the 6 year old thread again then they would not look like such a dumb ass.
