I've clocked quite a few hours into BFBC2. Now I'm just trying to get platinum for every gun, which means I have to get kills with the Carl Gustav. After boycotting this thing because it's obviously overpowered, I now realize just how cheap it is once you get good with it.
Hopefully BF3 doesn't have stupid stuff like the Carl Gustav.

Battlefield 3
http://bf3nation.com/2010/05/battlef...ion-exclusive/Millions of fans that have played Battlefield 2 over the past few years have been eagerly awaiting for any news concerning the sequel to BF2. Since the infamous Battlefield 3 DigitalBattle leak in October 2007 we really have not seen any more news on the (hopefully) upcoming title. Just a few months ago CEO of DICE semi/confirmed the game being in development by saying that “Battlefield 3 will blow everyone away”. Well its been days/months/years and still nothing. But wait, there is a shiny new beacon on the horizon (well two)…
The first one is the E3 show premiering on June 15 2010 that might bring an end to the BF3 news drought.

BF2 was easily one of my favourite PC games of all time (despite the bugs)
i love DICE's products but i dont want to get too excited for BF3 'cause chances are we won't be seeing it until late 2011 or 2012._______________

I love BFBC2! The Carl Gustav needs a nerf, I can't believe they nerfed the 40mm grenade though and not touch the Carl Gustav. It's amazingly cheap especially with the High Explosives ability.

and I don't trust Dice on consoles
they take forever to fix things and sometimes don't even bother
1943 on ps3 has microphones still borked and bad company 1 for 360 and ps3 has rapid fire with artillery gun and instant reload when swapping packs. These bugs have been known for a year now

Omg I used to play BF2 for HOURS couple years ago (maybe longer).
I have not been into games much anymore but I'd love to give BF3 a go if it's anything like BF2.
I am instantly reminded of sniping people out of vehicle and off cranes or rooftops.
