Bauer 6000 6.5EE Ice Skates! *SOLD*
1 complete set of Dunlop Sport A2 Tires with less than 30,000 km on them (I have the receipt)
Size: 195/60R15
Reason for selling: I bought a set of winter tires and bought a set of 16" wheels for summer so I don't need these anymore.
The tires are H-rated.
SOLD!
~~~~~~~~~~~~
I got a pair of Bauer Supreme 6000 Skates Size 6.5EE
Worn only once for a game of shinny, BARELY any marks on it.
Heat moldable (you can get them done at National for free)
Tuuk Lightspeed runners w/ the non-perforated blade
I like my skates snug and they felt a little too big for me, too bad I already played a game in them otherwise I would have returned them.
I ended up buying a 1/2 size smaller (Nike V12s) during National's sale in August.
So I have these barely worn skates up for sale.
If you know skates, you'd know that the TUUK Lightspeed runners (263mm) would normally cost $60 each (per skate, $120 total) to get installed on your skates.
For reference, I normally wear a size 41 (eur) shoe and for obvious reasons I have wide feet.
MSRP: $399
National has them on sale right now for $230 + tax
** SOLD **
Right skate:
(outside of skate - as in the right side of your right foot)
(inside of skate - as in the left side of your right foot)
Left skate:
(outside of skate - as in left side of your left foot)
(inside of the skate - as in the right side of your left foot)
hmm how big of a difference is EE from D?
If you have narrow feet, you should wear a D.
If you have wide feet, you might be able to get away with D, but it'll be uncomfortable at first.
If you have extra wide feet, you can't get away with wearing D cause it'll be painful as hell. =)
I can't wear D skates because I find the toebox area too small, although the length is right, my toes are being squished from the sides.
Sometimes people don't know that you can get a wider width skate, and end up getting a bigger (longer) skate to compensate for it. That's the wrong way of doing it, and don't let any salesperson fool you into it. I can't stress to you how important fitment is for skates, get the right width & right length.
Answered the EE question via PM, but for others who don't know.
the EE designation is for the width of footwear
D is normal
E is wide
EE is extra wideLast edited by kmltick; Dec 22nd, 2005 at 11:56 PM.
Are those wax laces on the pair of skates?
Yup they're waxed laces. Don't they increase the sexiness factor? lol...
