question for women's clearance priced shoes -- this wouldn't include the shoes currently on sale ... or would it? i know they have the annual yellow banner 'clearance' event whereby the shoes that are currently marked down up to 50% get an additional 40%. good for mom to know.

Very disapointing Boxing Day sale. Last year it was extra 40% off Men's clothing with no exclusions. This year only extra 25% off and the only clothing worth buying at The Bay is excluded.

Can't seem to open the link... anyway, 75% off luggage is enticing. I will have to compare it to Futureshop's 50% off luggage.

The Bay's 75% off luggage deals are an absolute insult to anyone with a well-functioning brain. The lines that are discounted 75% -- and there are precious few of them -- are absurdly overpriced to begin with. You might as well go to Costco and buy a 3-piece set for 89 bucks and you'll get about the same quality as the junk that carries $300-$500 pricetags -- per piece, that is -- with the Bay's inflated "regular" pricing.
I was at their store in DT Calgary on Black Friday, and they announced over the PA that they had an exciting selection at 75% off, so I wandered downstairs to luggage out of curiousity. It was impossible to know what was on at the 75% discount without lining up at the cashier to have the clerk scan each piece. I saw 7 or 8 shoppers having items scanned and not one of was offered at the 75% discount.
My humble suggestion: Don't waste your time on this luggage (or anything else) at the Bay.

What are the prices of slippers at the Bay? I bought some at Winners for $19.99, don't know if the ones at Bay are better or cheaper.

Five or so years ago I bought a pair of slippers for $20 (sale price but not a major sale). They were extremely comfortable and only this year I had to replace them. They had a good selection. Their stuff was expensive but good. On a sale they are probably good deals. Assuming their selection didn't change...

Anyone that missed out on the Henckels Truclad set with free wok is your chance now.

One of the best places to get men's shoes is at the Bay. They have top quality shoes for less than you pay for mediocre shoes if you buy them on sale now. I have worn dress shoes from the Bay for over 10 years and still look new. The casual shoes are also over 8 years and still look unworn although I do have to replace some for getting paint, etc on them.
