I own a set of these. The handles never get hot on the stove. I put them in the oven for steaks once in a while. They work really well but like all steel pots and pans they can get dirty and be rather difficult to clean.

If you have difficulty cleaning stainless steel cookware, I HIGHLY recommend Bar Keeper's Friend: http://www.barkeepersfriend.com/where-to-buy/Canada I had pots that were stained or discoloured, and this stuff got it right out with VERY little effort. You can read reviews on it everywhere and it is pretty cheap, even cheaper if you happen to go to the US. My pots came out just like new, no exaggeration.

As an alternative, I think this stuff is the same/similar, haven't tried it, but reviews look good. Also saw it at Sears: Lagostina Cleaner

Thx gazzer, the saturday sale is a joke, that has to be 1 of the ugliest and most overpriced dinnerware sets I have ever seen.

I think the whole idea of the sale is for Branding only, they want people to keep looking everyday. I am sure they could get some old stock out for sale for super chep if they really wanted too
