BB: Acer Desktop Computer Intel Quad Q8300 4gig DDR3 500gig $329 w coupon ISPU only
YMMV -- BestBuy.ca has this computer available for In Store Pick-up only. You cannot order it online and have it shipped. Not all locations have this comptuer in stock.
Acer Aspire Desktop Computer featuring Intel Core Quad 8300 (AX3810-E3813A)
Processor Type Intel Core Quad 8300
Processor Speed 2.5GHz
RAM 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM
Hard Drive Speed/Capacity 500 GB SATA 7200 RPM
Optical Drives Super Multi DVD+/-RW; DVD-RAM
Graphics Intel GMA X4500
Pre-loaded Operating System Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit
http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/prodde...on=L&langid=EN
NOTE: During the checkout screen, add the digital dollars code: PIZZZ020205435275577 to get $20 off your order (from $349.95 down to $329.95). I thought you needed the order to be $350+ but I did not need to add any filler item when I entered the code to get the discount
Unfortunately this item is not available in Nova Scotia. But I tried 2 locations in Quebec and both have the machine in stock so you can do in store pickup at these locations.
If you can find this item in stock at your bestbuy location I think its a very hot deal.

This system has a quad core processor (4 cores) vs 2 core on the other.
The other machine has a slightly bigger hard drive (640GB vs 500GB) and has HDMI out capability
However this machine is SFF (small form factor)
For me, I'd rather the quad CPU over the HDMI out and 140GB extra HDD space. However depending on what you want to use it for, you may choose differently.

This one has a better processor. It's OOS online though.

On the main page, it says:
1 HDMI output, 9 USB 2.0 ports, 1 FireWire, and an integrated memory card reader
However, under the spec it says No for HDMI port...i hate when they do this.
Also, this has built in Wi-fi.

The only thing I wouldn't look forward to in this PC is for gaming. Why? Althought it has 1 pci-e x16 slot available, you only have a 220watt power supply, maybe you can put a nvidia 9600 in there. I believe the better video card requires high power.
But overall it's great if you just want internet and word processing.

Jumped on the deal for pick up. Hopefully they have one in stock.
Digital dollar also worked flawlessly.
Thanks OP

Is it only one per customer? I have a few relatives that are also interested in this.

Specs say this includes HDMI out (it's the same graphics card) so it's really 120GB vs +2cores and SFF. Would have to say: this trounces the other.
If HD space is really important, you can put a 500GB drive in for +$50.
