Looks nice for the price but it takes up quiet the space... Hmm I could go with two of this for my room.

1.5A according to NewEgg. I know the HP Touchpad Charger is 2A, can this really charge a Tablet?

yea.. only 1.5A... pretty weak.
would charge a S3 and Note2 pretty slowly as well._______________

+ 1 to this, bought two. Very solidly built, excellent value if you can find it in stock somewhere. If you notice a high stock level, be prepared for a hunt in store as they may be placed in some obscure location or not out on the floor.
