I've missed a few Multi-function Laser printers deals and I came across this one. I wanted one with a Colour Scanner as apposed to just monochrome scanning.
I know this is Warm as Costco had this one recently for $139.99 after a $100 rebate (Rebate after tax on $239.99).
Best Buy has the Brother DCP-7020 on for $149.99.
However, Staples has it for $229.99 (or $237.99 in area's where there is a $8.00 Enviro fee)
Doing a price match with Staples makes it:
$141.99 =$149.99 - (($229.99-$149.99)*0.10)
I called Staples Online and they wanted to Price Match it with the Next Day shipping of $63.10 from Best Buy, so I'm going to try instore.
Staples also sells a Refurbished model for $129.88 (or $137.88 with $8.00 Enviro Fee)

Bought the Brother 7020 from Coscto 4 months ago for, as you had mentioned, $139.99 It's a great all-in-one. Warm-up time is super fast and I'm still on my starter cartridge. I bought the Asus-520 router w/ printer sharing from Infonec (Toronto) and hope to use it as a stand alone print server for our home wireless network.
I highly recommend this printer for getting your black and white printing needs done in a flash!

The toner is the Brother TN-350. The starter cartridge does not come with a Reset Flag Gear needed to refill. However You can buy the toner and Reset Flag Gear from www.tonerkits.com but there is a whole Toner Refill thread on that.
I think I did find where to put the Reset Gear if you look on page 3 of this PDF file (top right side of drawing).

I found this (link) one on ebay for around the $26USD ($11.99 kit + $13.99 s/h
) mark shipped from Canada.
Refill Pak Includes:
2 - 90g black toner refills
1 - Reset Gear
1 - pouring spouts w/cap
1 - set illustrated instructions
To compare to www.tonerkits.com, you would need 2 kits @ $7.99 each + 1 reset gear @ 3.99 + $5.95 s/h for a total of $25.32USD.
The only extra with Tonerkits is you get an extra pouring spouts w/caps and extra set illustrated instructions (since you bought 2 kits). However Tonerkits does not show where the reset gear goes.

No it does not. I bought this printer this year @ BB and have it connected to my DLINK print server. Whenever I need to use the scanner I disconnect it from the server and connect to a USB port on the computer. It was the only way I could have a network printer -- and sometimes use the scanner function.
