Read some reviews on this and it seems pretty decent.

Yup noticed it in this morning email, looks pretty good for the price, I actually "reserved" one and plan to use it as a PC monitor. Will let you guys know how it looks once I get home tonight.

I'm contemplating if I should get this or the larger display/lower resolution set for ~$40 more.

I previewed this tv in store yesterday. Just a heads up to anyone interested, viewing angles are really bad, terrible color and flimsy stand, slow OSD. Definitely not suitable as a tv or pc monitor. You get what you pay for.

Pretty small even for a bedroom tv...we picked up a dynex 32" a few months ago I think for about $180.. And at that size 720p is fine

Got this TV on boxing day and I like it. I was looking for something small for my room, mainly to be used with an xbox, and the picture is really good considering what the TV costs. From what I understand, Insignia sets are made by LG (great company) exclusively for Best Buy and I'm honestly impressed with what I got for the money ($159 after taxes and eco). My living room TV is a Samsung 7 series LCD, and compared to that, the colours and picture quality are more than decent on the Insignia.

Is this better than the $99/129.99 PS3 3D display? I saw a couple left yesterday... was debating getting another one.

Ordered this TV about a couple of weeks ago and set up two of them: one in a bedroom and one in the exercise room. One is driven 1080i via HDMI using a cable box and the other 1080i via component from another cable box. For $129, it's a great deal. Only complaint is that the reds are a little too red and can be noticeable when faces are shown. Haven't tried VGA input yet or ATSC input. Tried direct cable in (my Shaw service still has analog) and image is okay as analog goes, but, was surprised how many digital audio channels that the TV would tune in.

OK so I did get it and used it all of last night for internet browsing and stuff (and using it right now as I type this out). Bottom line: I'm unimpressed. The brightness is just all wrong. I fiddled with the settings but really it's just not meant to be used as a PC monitor.
I'm returning it. I'll rather pay $10/$20 extra for a display that is meant to be looked at from a short distance.

Seems ok - on regular cable the picture is decent enough, quality on shaw hd of course much better. Viewing angles are fine since it's wall swivel mounted. Sound isnt even that bad..theres probably another expired thread with other peoples experiences a while back when it was on sale.
