To those who have bought this TV,,,
How are you liking it ?
If you could, would you have bought it again? or spending little more for something better ?

I've only used t about a hour but notice that is has a great picture, very impressed with that. The 120hz is something I keep turned off because the processing gives lag to gaming. I assume its not a real 120hz tv but just a gimmick. I don't care, I like my 60hz look. Does digital pass through as well. I have my Xbox going in with hdmi and a coax spdif connection to my amp. I'm getting dts in the amp. So far, first impressions are very very good.

Just noticed that Best Buy has this model for $499 again, ending today. If a BB store is OOS maybe the HDTVISG is still possible for $449 and free delivery.

Edit: They may use the excuse that this TV is in the BD flyer and in limited quantity, to avoid the HDTVISG, so YMMV.Last edited by idiotcanuck; Dec 27th, 2012 at 07:29 PM.

Can someone quickly tell me how I get $50 off and free shipping if there's a TV that's OOS or sold out? Can I do this online?

$449 for a 50" 120Hz 1080p LCD is not bad... $499 is just okay. But are "Insignia product" TV's good?

$50 more for an insignia 55" LED
worth it for LED and 5 extra inches.

The 55" is out of stock online and there's no stock anywhere on the east coast
Don't know about elsewhere
Couldn't even get a rain check - the person at CS said that they weren't producing any more units

I was just at the FS two hours ago at Eglinton and Warden and there was an open-box unit (probably a return) for $399.99.

I picked up a 55 last week love it! Comes with 2 year warranty, insignia is owned by BB/FS and they do warranty too. I also read that the components are made by lg. For the price you can't beat it. I don't get the in stock guarantee, they told me since it was in stock at warehouse in was out of luck, website was down for boxing day sale so I couldn't argue at the time but I plan on going back.

Best Buy still has the NS-50L260A13 for $499 and here in the GTA there are a number of stores that are OOS so $449 and free delivery is very doable assuming there are still some units in the warehouse.

This 50" 60hz version is also an option at FS for $429
