For 99 it might be worth just to try and see if you get a working one. But it's definitely not a quality product from what everyone's been writing. Worst case you return it. No harm.

a 24" non-3D LED monitor will be priced under $100 everywhere during boxing week. why take a risk for this one??? it doesn't come with vga and dvi ports.

No. Don't pick it up for fun... That's being really self-fish... Some people actually want to buy the monitor... By the time you return it, they won't be able to purchase at sale price anymore... Please think before you do...

Just some details for those who might be wondering:
The display comes at level 10 brightness by default. Knocking this down to 5 should completely remove the flickering issue. (Based off what I've seen people write on forums and from friends who own it).
The monitor has 2 hdmi + 1 component ports, and works fine with an xbox 360 and a pc.
3D works with the 360 3D, and it is hit or miss on pc games (better with 3rd party software). (Based off what I've seen people write on forums and from friends who own it).
Overall, a 24" monitor at $99 is a steal in my eyes. Will most likely try to pick one up to replace my 1680x1050 20'
| and if the glare is too bad, I'll just return it. Easy.
@Cynic-, can you comment on how bad the glaring/mirror image problem really is, and how it would impact me (more, less)? I would sit half a meter to a meter away from my screen, and there are lights on the ceiling maybe 2 meters away.

Second, I don't know, it is like watching a plasma TV when there's sunlight outside, you can basically see yourself in the monitor... I guess half of yourself depending on how dark the monitor is. Any amount of light will cause this haha... gets worse with sunlight of course. I still think it's worthwhile to get it though... my friend who complained and made fun of me about this mirror also got one himself and he's been happy. I'm hoping in my setup the mirror won't be too much of a problem, and if it is I can always return it.
I think it's a good monitor, and for the price, even more so.

It comes with a game and a pair of 3D glasses, both of them worth about $30 together, so the 3D display itself only cost $70. Where can you get a 24" monitor for $70? Originally Posted by adsl17910
