I'd say barely warm. Considering the 2 deals of the Acer computers (at BB and CC), which were about $150 cheaper, and had pretty much the same specs (in fact, the BB CPU was superior to this). Only extras here is a slighly bigger 750GB HDD, and 8G Ram (which most people will never utilize completely).
Moreover this is refurbished. I'd wait for the price to drop further.

The HP does have 2 extra PCI-E x1 slots, for those who like them. Personally I'd prefer regular PCI slots so that I can make use of my existing cards.
The HP also will take a full-sized graphics card, rather than the Acer's low-profile option, but none is included so there's no real advantage to HP here either._______________
Manchester United - winners of the English league for an all-time record 19 times. A mere 2 minutes away from making it No. 20 this season.
Champs for a reason. We play the FULL season. Sadly this season City got 2 minutes extra.
“At United we strive for perfection. If we fail, we might just have to settle for excellence”, Sir Matt Busby. Excellence it is then - this time.

Well, the Acer from Canada Computers will fit as full sized PCI-e graphics card as its not a SFF. Of course in comparison, that has the weakest CPU (E5300) but still its not that far off in the ball game. That said, the Acers both have DDR3 memory, not that it makes any difference now, but will be easier to add on more DIMMS in the future.
And yes, I prefer more PCI slots myself, as a lot of my older cards are pre-PCI-E. *EDIT: Actually looking at the specs, this has 3 PCI-E slots and NO PCI slots at all. That is a BIG deal breaker for me, personally. *
Also, the on-board video doesn't have HDMI. So another disadvantage compared to the Acers._______________

Not a very good deal. The RAM is worth a lot these days though! What is up with "nVidia 9100 graphics"? Nothing I've ever heard of on an AMD motherboard.
Included Wifi is pretty nice, but again there have been much hotter PC deals recently and boxing day is only 1.5 months away now
