But VM doesn't include the $100 gc. It used to include $150 but that ended today unfortunately.

It's actually $75+hst=84.75 ... $150tab+hst=169.50 .. $4.00+hst pro rated few days service=$4.52
Total 258.77 out of pocket -100GC = $158.77.. If you get the BBY RZ referral then an additional $55 BBY dollars in a few months.
There's also a hard credit check that gets done.. Whatever that might be worth to you... Currently you can get $100 FS GC for applying and getting approved for MBNA smart cash.
I picked up 2 of these phones from RCSS on no tax day, got the GC applied to the purchase, walked out paying $0. Got a koodo bill for $348.04. Both phones came unlocked, sold one the same day for $350. Earned $3.48 cash back on my cc and $1.96 from the sale. Got a great gift, put 5.44 in my pocket and all it cost me was 1 credit inquiry. Good deal I think. Thanks again RFD
I would buy another if the price drops to $150 outright. Not interested in another credit check.

According to the flyer there is a $100GC so $0 - 100GC +150 tab = $50 + rewards

Oh, that sounds a little better. I'll wait then, thanks!
Is anyone familiar with Koodo? Do they allow only 3 phones per household like Virgin?

The only phone that will work is S2X.

yes the one S we get here in canada works with wind (it's not documented anywhere on HTC's website but I and many others in the One S deal thread can confirm that it works once unlocked).

Is BB selling them to existing Koodo customers as well (without the gift card)?

Is it bad to keep doing credit checks?

LD's deal starts on Friday...Samsung Ace IIX $0 with the Tab and Bonus $100 LD Gift Card with a new tab.
Now don't know what the differences are with all these Samsung phone models :0/....just putting in my 2 cents worth.

So for those of us that got the $100 - 100gc (plus tab) offer a few weeks back still have price protection? I bought 2 of these phones at WM 3 weeks ago and would love to go back and get $50 refunded.
Do I have 30 day price protection at Walmart and does this qualify?

Samsung Galaxy IIX: 480 x 800 pixels, 4.52 inches (~206 ppi pixel density), Android 2.3 but the Front facing camera is 2.0MP
Given the Samsung's superior design & build quality I would personally for Galaxy IIX IF you can live with a slightly lower screen resolution

Yes. Each check could drop your score up to 5 points, possibly more per check if multiple are done in a short time. A possible scenario, say you have a TD emerald visa at 4.75%. Every year they re-assess your rate, if your score has dropped then you may not be in the same bucket (their term for group) to qualify for that rate. You might now only qualify for 6.75 or even 8.75 depending how much your score has dropped. If you carry a $5k balance on that card then it just potentially cost you $100-$200 interest over the next year for doing that credit check. Checks could also make you less likely to be approved for certain credit cards/products.
