I want to create a community board and not sure which BB software to use. Any recommendation for vBulletin vs. BBphp. What does RFD uses as it seems it has lots of customization

RFD uses vBulletin.. it's not free but I think it's a far superior product and the active development usually means better security.

Most serious forums use vBulletin. It's more like a standard now. phpBB is not bad; but since it's free, it gives an impression that it's kind of ... cheap. I have used both, and would recommend vBulletin.

Thanks, I know that vBulletin is a more advanced product. I think I will go with vBulletin, I like the feature set and price is not that bad either
