" Sounds like I am on the right track. I'm going to wait for a final invoice to come. I did sign up with the e-mail bill to avoid the $2 paper bill"
Sounds like we are in the same boat

I never received my bill paper or electronic. Had to call in and pay over the phone.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but whats the best plan to sign up for in store if you want to switch to prepay and payoff the tab?

This is irelevent. The cheapest one will do. If you wsitch the same day, you won't even pay a prorated day of use for that plan.
Just don't let them put money on your prepayed account when you switch.

the $20 choice plan. best to pick cheapest one because you usually end up paying for a few days worth of service. stay away from the combo/smartphone plans because they have a $35 activation fee.

And don't forget to ask the rep to block data usage (or don't turn it on until you take the SIM card out... if the rep puts it in for you) because ANY usage at all automatically puts you at the first tier of data usage which costs $5

This is the same deal as 2 weeks ago
http://forums.redflagdeals.com/bb-vi...eward-1266050/
Many people, including myself, bought the phone, called in the same day to pay off the $150 tab and switched to prepaid. I just got my final bill and was charged $19.50 HST (Ontario) on the $150 tab but other than that, everything went through fine and I am now on prepaid with a $0 balance which will automatically expire in 120 days. My only issue is that the person who referred me cannot see any points pending in their BB reward zone account. The points are pending in my reward zone account and will be credited after 35 days

i really doubt it will get any better. it's already $56 +$169tab - 100 -25 -25 GC = $75ish total. You can't even buy a prepaid dumbphone for that much.

The website shows $100 gift card but the flyer shows $50 gift card?? Does it depend on the plan ?

Nope. If they only offer you the $50 gift card show them online. Works for any monthly plan.
