$60 10GB BYOD or $85 10GB (Large or Premium Plans

Retailer:
(BC/AB and ON ) Rogers, Fido, Koodo, Bell, Virgin, Telus
All carriers are offering this now.

Boxing day is coming so you might want to get the $85 plan and wait for the boxing price on the phones.

1) Get any smartphone
2) Future date the activation until Dec 20th
3) Wait until boxing day
4) Do an exchange. (within 14 days without any usage limits as of Dec 1st)
5) Choose the best phone with the best price. Usually $0 for iPhone 8+ on Large tab or Premium Tab

Note:
If you are doing this, you cannot switch back to $60 BYOD after Dec 18th.
If you are not doing this, you won't be able to get the special phone deals on Boxing week.

Don't bother calling to retention because they won't do a thing for you. I think it is because the end of the quarter so telecom companies are trying to push the numbers to secure the investors. Unlock fees were a huge profit for them.

If it is busy in 1 store, try going to another store. No need to wait for an hour. If the person in front of you is asking so many questions, just give them the "stare".

Plans:
$60
10 GB

CALLER ID
BASIC VOICEMAIL (3 MESSAGES, or 10 on Koodo)
[/b]

FEES:

-$25 Activation Fees
-$10 -$20 Sim Card

This is funny. Everyone will jump ship to another carrier for the same deal.

The carriers will end up with the same number of subscribers, just at a lower revenue. Which is what should be happening anyways. Competition in action!

I signed up with ROGERS, but now I'm second guessing if I should go for the permanent 10GB plans.

Seems like Fido is offering ON now. So I guess the big 3 will soon do the same.

I mentioned this in my old thread before it turned into a mess. I spoke to Rogers's rentention dept and was told they won't price match with Koodo since they're a smaller provider and Rogers is a national one. They said the comparable plan is $140 for 12 GB a data. Maybe they'll have stuff for tomorrow?
