For BC Residents: Children's Fitness and Children's Art amounts for taxes

When doing your 2017 tax returns, even though the Children's Fitness and Children's Arts Tax Credits were eliminated for the Federal Income Tax Return, these amounts are still claimable as credits for the BC Provincial Income Tax return. So, don't forget to deduct these on Form BC428 if you are a resident of BC. They are eliminated starting in 2018.

Thanks! I didn't think to check the BC form, assuming these tax credits were totally eliminated federally, Although it doesn't increase my refund for 2017 (zero provincial tax already), it will for 2018 provided the BC government doesn't eliminate them. Nice to see a sports equipment credit added.
