1/ Finally got it installed on Aug 7. after the installation, Canada channels won't be available until the next day. and some other canada channels need to report to suntel if missing.

2/ tried downloading a large file once around mid-night thru wifi and the download speed is reasonable, haven't try cable yet

3/ we watch hk channels only, sometimes buffering alot, up and down. Canada/USA are pretty stable

4/ phone quality, can't compare with regular land line, the quality is like using phone function in whatsapp.

overall, i will get the 1 year plan soon.

Thinking about installing soon. Could the current users update their experience with Suntel?

Interesting. I'm with Lightspeed, but they also connect via Shaw and use Skyway West, I just speedtested and got 17.43dn/1.57up.

atxavier, thank you for the quick response. Were your tests done in the evening or weekend? I found Shaw had the same issue. Also, is it a typical result for a long time?

Thank you. As I asked before, were these test results consistent for a long time?

Today, speedtest.shaw.ca getting 30.20Mbps download, speedtest.net gave me 32.11Mbps, but of course it's a bit late now at 11pm, I will try to post one for tomorrow after dinner..

so by switching to the anual plan, do they refund you the 150 deposit? so the phone is terrible?

is the service stable?

How is the service to date so far? I'm in Richmond and just curious as they will be coming to install for us in April. Any improvements with the phone quality or TV buffering issues that was mentioned?
