Depends what Major you pursue.
For example, I have a B.Comm as a Marketing Management Major and entry level positions relevant to my field are Marketing Coordinators, Account Executives, Account Managers.

I did a Bcomm in finance and have worked in many different industries and fields, in various positions. I started out in marketing in the Pricing group for a large PC manufacturer, then moved on to do inventory accounting and internal audit at the same place. I worked as a portfolio manager at a tech services firm. I worked as the FP&A Manager for a division at a large telco. I worked as an operations manager for a publisher. So yeah, lots of broad experience over the years.

9 of my friends from university became auditors, including myself.
At least 5 coworkers @ my firm from my year are Bcomm from my university.
2 more did finance and real estate double major and got positions doing financial analysis in real estate development firms.
A guy older than me did marketing and tlog and got a job @ Proctor and Gamble as a brand manager.
Another guy who took accounting became an ibanker in TD
2 more accounting students became CGAs and is in the oil business in Calgary.
2 more accounting students went to Ottawa to work for National Defense and Bank of Canada.
Couple of finance students got jobs at the bank as personal finance services people.
That's all I remember but this is by no means an exhaustive list...Last edited by yiujun; Jun 26th, 2009 at 01:49 PM.

Almost anything you want. The sooner you realize that it's just a piece of paper, the better off you'll be.
A bcomm is really no different than say.. an arts degree. Business isn't rocket science.
Some of the things I've done:
- taught programming at university
- worked in venture capital
- worked in management consulting
- worked in a dot-com or three
- started my own companies
- designed websites
- did human resources consulting
etc etc etc
It's up to you to find what you want to do and just go for it. The only thing that might be tough to "just pick up" might be accounting, but you can take classes to shore up your knowledge.
