Add 3G to the title... could be a huge deal breaker to a lot of people.

Same phone for $614.99
And here's the LTE version for $575. (the place has varying reviews online, but they're in Mississauga, and you can pick up the phone there)

I rather have LTE than a quad core... I am getting 30mbps down / 8 mbps up on the Rogers network.

The T999 is not LTE which means you get slower data when used with big3
The international has more development community and support which means there is more custom ROMs available, will get official/non official updates more frequently, faster and for longer time (no restriction from any carrier who refuses to update its variant!)

quad core means nothing in this case... it benchmarks just slightly faster than the dual core in the 747. most people think quad vs dual = 2 times faster but that isn't even close to the case.

If you guys don't care about dual core vs quad core, you might as well get the S2.

not to mention the s2 looks a million times better. i personally like the bigger screen, so get a i727, a skyrocket or a t989 which has a big screen. or a galaxy nexus, way better than the s2 imo

Will the 4G LTE model fall back to 3G if your current plan (with Bell, on the HSDPA network) is not for 4G??

No LTE or DC-HSPA on this model. Of sure on Bell/Telus, this phone will be significantly slower, data speed wise, than either the LTE version they sell or using an unlocked T999 form T-Mobile/WIND/Mobilicity.
If you rather have fast CPU with lower RAM and slower data, then the I9300 makes sense. Otherwise buy the North American versions.
For sure T999 is faster than I9300 on Bell and Telus because T999 supports dual channel HSPA, upto 40mbps (real world is about 25% faster than HSPA+). No need to tell you LTE is faster than both. When the's no LTE the T999 is even faster than the I747.
If you're on Rogers, what I'm saying may not apply because I don't know if Rogers ever implemented DC-HSPA like Bell/Telus and T-Mobile did.

WM & Mobi don't have LTE., so it's a m00t point.
Read what I wrote. I didn't compare this model with the T999...I compare the T999 with the.......wait for it...T999.

There is absolutely no reason to buy this version of the phone - the quad core Tegra 3 is only as fast as the dual core Snapdragon in the North American versions - see the benchmarks here and here (The HTC X has a Tegra 3 quad core and it's slower then the Samsung S3 North American version!)
Also, it has 1/2 the RAM, and a slower GPU.

the only difference besides the ram etc is
that the quadcore has a better gaming engine (video card) and can get you better FPS.
