Beach Volleyball - Summatyme Anyone?
Hey guys,
I was just wondering if there were any beach vball players out there who might want to play a bit when summer truly hits? I think there are leagues that we might be able to join (to those whom are serious about this). Anyone know of any?

There are some leagues avaibable close to downtown. Off hand there is Toronto East Social Club and Go West Athletics (Toronto West Social Club) that has summer leagues. Not to mean to anyone playing these, but if you play competitive beach vball these leagues are NOT for you. Probably your best bet is to play in OVA tournaments that are helds mostly at Ashbridges but at Wassaga and other locations as well.
It's all good fun in the sun though with some buddies, good luck in your search -sg

At Woodbine, they always have the "Not So Pro" league going on. People there range from amazing to...well, not so pro. You are placed in the same brackets as people with approximately the same skill level as you are.

Beach Volleyball - Players Needed!
Hi Guys/Gals,
I've got a team but we are short a few players, we need at least 2 to 3 more for our team roster. We play Wednesday nights at 9pm at the Docks and our first game is this week! Cost is $60 per team member for 7 weeks of play, let me know quick if you want to play. Our team is co-ed, recreational level but most of us have at least the ability to put the ball over the net. Get at me quick via pm if you are interested. Our team is with the Toronto Central Sports league.
Cheers,
Nejo

If you guys are looking to get some games going this summer on weekend afternoons at Ashbridges, let me know! I can bring some friends as well (3-4). I dunno how I'd classify us in terms of skill, but most of us can serve, pass, volley, set, & spike decently.

Anyone heading down to Ashbridges tomorrow afternoon?
I'm planning to go pending weather when I wake up in the morning. As of now, the playing conditions look fairly manageable. 22 C, 30km/h winds, and 25% chance of rain/thunderstorm at 7PM.
