beach wedding in the Carribean.. what's the proper attire?
I'm going to my sister's beach wedding in St Thomas in April. What's proper attire for a guy to wear? If anyone who has been to a beach wedding has any suggestions, I'd love to hear it.

ask your sister what the groom and groomsmen are wearing and dress a notch or two below that. if it's going to be held on the beach the whole time, it's usually going to be a light coloured linen suit. but if they are going into a banquet hall in the evening, then you may need something more formal.

Attire totally depends on the couple.
A couple of years ago, one of my good buddies got married in the Caribbean. When he first told me his plans for a destination wedding, I thought "Great, Bermuda shorts and a Hawaiian shirt!"
Instead, he made me wear a tuxedo! Needless to say, I was very hot, and not enjoying myself nearly as much if I was in less formal wear.
