It wasn't as dark as the promos portrayed, but I liked it. It was kind of funny, too.

The Beast /w Patrick Swayze
I loved the pilot and can't wait to watch the other episodes.

Second episode was more like what I was expecting, although the first episode was better. I don't like the storyline that's developing in the background. It's too early for that. They should have saved it for near the end of the season or for a later season.

Good episode tonight, as far as the message of the story. Overall, this series has been decent, although not "must watch". Swayze is great, but the rest is so-so.
I heard that Swayze has some kind of terminal condition.

Hmm, this series has actually turned out to be pretty good. I even take back what I said about the background storyline. Talk about a slow simmer. I'm glad to see that they're not stretching it past this season, like on the Dead Zone.

He has Pancreatic Cancer and has been doing chemo on and off. But recent pictures of him are just heartbreaking and he weighs just over 100 pounds now.
Warning, these are depressing paparrazo pics.
