The wireless controllers are a nice touch on these.

I like the Coleco one lower on the page but no Donkey Kong sadly.

I have the Atari 7 one. Works great.

Some reviews can be pretty poor. These have been $50 several times in the past but I pass every time I read about the quality.
Hopefully Sega puts something out proper as Nintendo did - but with better stock levels.

This might even be a better alternative to the near-extinct NES Classic, unless you REALLY like the Nintendo IP. I already have an original Genesis system otherwise I'd hop on this.

Edit: actually with two wireless controllers and the ability to still load cartridges, this is a way better value. Altered Beast and the Golden Axe franchise alone is wellll worth it!

We got the Nintendo one, and honestly, not that impressed... with the price, you'd think the controller cord length would have been considered or even wireless... games, meh... more excited about the Atari one...

Read reviews before buying this junk. Don't let nostalgia get the best of you or your wallet.

The reviews are right there plain as day.:( How do you mess up an emulator?
Leave the past in the past or go find an old console at a flea market. Shame.

You can play Genesis games on the NES Classic via softmod and Retroarch now. If you can get your hands on one you're way better off with one of those!

You can add your own roms to the nintendo and you can get a longer cord. No big deal. Google "nintendo classic hacked".

I understand about the cords, but in today's day and age, you shouldn't HAVE to. When TV's are so large these days that you have to sit back at least 10 feet to see the whole screen, why they would make a 3 foot chord for a controller is beyond me.
Most likely going to sell it anyhow. Wife wanted it, I'm not a nintendo fan at all anyhow.
