Bees have barbed stingers that stay in, wasps dont. I got stung 5 separate times by a wasp this week, and another 5 the week before.
Was it a wasp or bee? How fast did you remove it? Polysporin Itch Relief should help with the itching. Put a drop on a bandage pad, and apply that to the stinger site. Then take a tissue and run the Poly over the entire area.

Bee Sting
So, I was picking grapes from the vines on Saturday and a wasp stung me on my middle finger..I managed to pull the stinger out.
I Took a benadryl to stop the itching and put a paste of baking sode and water on it.
Last night the itching drove me nuts and today, my hand is all swelled up.
What can I do to reduce the swelling and stop the itching?
I can't take benadryl cuz it will keep me awake._______________
