Dont remember what the reg price was they had showing but it was a big discount. Some guy took every bottle of the one kind, lots of the other left so Im kind worried what it will taste like
Im sure the many queen students here will note the very good alcohol to price ratio

My parents get Magnotta wine all the time. It's not the greatest wine, but it's a fantastic value. Is it worth it? Only YOU can decide! There are some great tasting wines under $10, better tasting than the Magnotta, IMHO!
edit: I also grabbed a 24 of Amsterdam Blonde Lager for $35.xx at the Beer Store, not a bad brew!Last edited by game_fanatic; May 22nd, 2009 at 11:25 PM.

Hey guys, sorry I forgot to report back after my visit to TBS! Yes the 12-pack tall cans of Canadian (473ml) are on sale for $21.95!!! That's HOT!! And the 15-pack cans of Bud (355ml) are on sale for $20.95!!! That's even hotter!! Usually 12 cans of Bud (355ml) run you $22.95, so you are getting $2 off AND 3 free cans! Cheers!

side note: Corona 6-pack bottles (330ml) are OFF sale back to reg. price of $12.25, but the 24-pack of bottles is still on sale for $38.95.

Not really a deal, but a way to save $0.60 when buying a 12-pack bottles of Bud, Blue, Canadian and Coors light I believe - If you are going to buy a 12-pack of bottles (341ml) then just ask the guy/gal working if you can have 2 6-packs instead of a 12-pack. 2 6-packs will be $19.90 whereas a 12-pack of bottles is $20.50. I know it's not a HOT deal, but if you were going to buy a 12-pack anyway, then you can save something better than nothing! Cheers!

I was just talking with my local brewery (Better Bitters/NickelBrook), if you give them 2 weeks notice they will brew you their regular draft beer. This is 24L of Draft @ $55, and you get it in a keg and give them 2. You also have the option to bottle it yourself.
I just paid for a 20L keg of the same stuff @ $60 on the Victoria day weekend, and it was rather good.
20L @ $60 = 60 bottles of 334ml = $1.00 per bottle equivalent
24L @ $55 ~= 71 bottles of 334ml ~= $0.78 per bottle equivalent
It was pretty darn good beer for being cheap, and many of the people at the party liked it.
Downside, you have to be in the Burlington area.
http://www.nickelbrook.com/
They also have loaner taps and tubs, and all you pay is deposit only.
$50 deposit on Tap
$20 deposit on a 20L keg
$50 deposit on a 30L or 58L keg

If I am driving from Toronto, which is the closest Costco location in Quebec? If not costco, where is the closest quebec place to buy a large amount of beer for a party?
