Interesting article! BUT I see the same thing happen at Ikea North York and Vaughan. Kids jumping on couches, beds, people sleeping in mattresses. I've noticed you can now buy a lot of cheap knock off Ikea furniture from Loblaws, Walmart, etc.

lol imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Thanks!
But yes there was a point which you seemed to have missed - let's move on beyond reposting entire articles verbatim and start adding some commentary. It's not that difficult.
If I wanted Digg I could go there. Should we start using RFD to simply copy entire tracts of text for no apparent reason? I mean really how hard is it to distill the article and throw in your 2 cents?_______________

Freeloaders! IKEA needs a way to scare off the people that don't buy anything...
Alan Wrench: You put it together yourself! All you need is me, Alan Wrench!
Homer: He's named after what he is.
Bart: Hey, cool costume!
Alan Wrench: (Robotic voice) It's not a costume. They found me in a meteor!
Marge: Where do you keep your sparkplugs?
Alan Wrench: (Normal voice) Sparkplugs? Third aisle. (Robotic, to Bart) Help! I need tungsten to live! Tungsten!

Some of the pics show freeloaders hanging around but everyone else seems to be shopping, hardly unusual in any shopping centre. I think it's hard to take away any specific insight from the article about Chinese consumer trends.
