My auto insurance is about to expire in 60 days. Got different quotes from Kanetix and Belairdirect was the best one.
Does anyone have some reviews, advices, etc regarding Belairdirect?
Thanks in advance

Belair is fine, but they have a huge penalty for early cancellation. Also, they keep their premiums fixed for two years, so if you have a fast depreciating car, you loose out. If you rack up a lot of tickets and accidents, you win!

belair direct
Run away fast, OMG if you try to cancel a policy they doddle and delay and lie and say they never received the information or the fax you send them and then on top of that they keep your last months premium(you have to pay in advance of course) and then keep trying to take money out of your account for several month following . Then they have the nreve to send you dishonoured payment statements. I had to put a block on my account cause they kept trying to take money after I cancelled the policy several month ago) They are still trying to do it. I even have confirmetion of the policy cancellation!!! Look elsewhere!!! holy cow bad bad news

Wow, lots of people with problems. I have been with Belair for a couple of years now. My rates have decreased every year since I signed up. I made a comprehensive claim recently and it was handled quickly - the windshield claim was processed within 10-minutes. You just have to shop around for your needs.

I had them for 3 years...after my very first accident (after 10 years of driving experience), they told me that I was too high risk and reclined to renew my contract. I was forced to go elsewhere...never went back to them even to get a quote

You should try a Broker, who can shop several different insurers that suit your needs...besides they are there for advice! I get calls on a daily basis from clients that have had issues with that company for one reason or another...mainly service and claims problems.

Been with them for a couple years now, no problems, though I've had no accidents *knock on wood*. They are by far the cheapest for younger drivers (I'm 25 now). I saved over 400 a month from my previous insurance company, ING Direct, by switching to them. If they increase my premium I'll just shop around...

INTACT Insurance, formerly ING, have changed their rating format recently and use what is called IRP, Individualized rating program..its a shift from rating based on the traditional broad characteristics and experience. Every person will now be individually rated on age, gender, annual mileage and not all grouped into each category like before.

I've been with belair direct for about 3 years... their rates are unbeatable, at least for my age (23 years old) and i've never had any issues with them but I have not been any at fault accidents either... I just insurance my house with them as well and they were able to give me some great multi-plan discounts as well. Prior to being with belair I had flip flopped between a number of companies each year as I found better rates, but the last 2 years at least no one has been able to top Belair's rate.

Same here.
I'm 23 and noone can seem to beat their quotes...
I also have a friend with them that had his car keyed and there was no hassle in getting the claim through for repairs.
