[Bell] 10GB Data + Unlimited Minutes for $85 With 2 year activation and new phone

Got a text from Bell today with the following:

Bell msg: Upgrade to a new phone on Canada's best national network. Choose from select phones for $0 and get unlimited Canada talk/text and 10 GB of data for $85/month (2-yr term). Only available in-store. Fees apply. Ends July 3.

Anyone else get this offer or know more about it? Is it any phone or just a select few? We are going to the store later this week but want to be prepared.

EDIT: I should say we are located in Alberta

I got this text too, i'm in toronto. I have the $60 for 10gb plan and not about to pay $25 more per month and sign a contract for a phone... rather buy the phones outright.

Sounds like a decent offer if you can get a flagship phone with it (if it's like $0 down)!

I just called in and they said it's a loyalty offer for people on the $60 plan who may want a new phone. Not available to anyone else.

What kind of "select phone" is available? Is it a "Smart" or "Premium" plan?

I am torn , using an LG G4 and it has gotten pretty laggy lately (I am sure I could go a reset to "fix" it, but sure it would happen again over time), love the 60$ / 10GB plan , adding on an additional $25 / m for a new phone doesn't seem like that bad of a deal overall.

Wow. I'm paying like $75 and don't even have data. Is there a plan code to get this?

You're getting majorly ripped off lol. No wonder Bell doesn't send you a text, they don't want you off that plan haha.

I think this is the same as the Rogers $85 plan they had. It depends on the phone you want. Can range from a little cheaper buying outright to more expensive (like an iPhone)

*I bought a Pixel 2 XL during the Koodo deal during Christmas. All in all, I paid about $800 taxes in. This required me lining up at a Koodo kiosk, opening a new account (take a credit hit), and call in later to cancel (that people were had trouble with). I got lucky and got through early in the morning in about 45 minutes. This was considered a hot deal and basically destroyed Koodo's call center for weeks. If I went with with $85 plan with Rogers, I would pay $200 for the phone. That's exactly the same price as the Koodo's deal and 0 hassle. This deal depends on whether you want a new phone every 2 years or not.

Someone just answered, two posts above you. Looks like $85 is the Smart level tier.
